Commack Road West Side |

Prior to 1970 a number of small houses lined the west side of Commack road south of Jericho. Some were said to date back to the 1700's. |

Today everyone who lives in Commack knows where the Dairy Barn is but few now remember the houses that stood there before. |

This was the first house just south of the Commack hotel on the corner. |

By 1969 - 70 the hotel and all the houses along the south side of Commack Road were gone and replaced with stores for the new growing population. |

This was once one of the Goldsmith's houses and is said to be very old. On the front can be seen a historic white marker from Marion Carlls 1953 tour. |
