Commack Road West Side
	Prior to 1970 a number of small houses lined the west side of Commack road south of Jericho. Some were said to date back to the 1700's.
						Today everyone who lives in Commack knows where the Dairy Barn is but few now remember the houses that stood there before.
		This was the first house just south of the Commack hotel on the corner.
						By 1969 - 70 the hotel and all the houses along the south side of Commack Road were gone and replaced with stores for the new growing population.
		This was once one of the Goldsmith's houses and is said to be very old. On the front can be seen a historic white marker from Marion Carlls 1953 tour.
