The Long Island Ducks

The Long Island Ducks played Hockey at the Arena from the 1960s through the 70s and inspired the 1977 movie Slap Shot staring Paul Newman. Players could often be found eating at the Diner afterwards where it could get as rowdy as the game sometimes.
