| The Long Island Arena played host to some of the top names in Rock over the years from Chubby Checker and Jay Black to Jimi Hendrix and The Monkies. Most shows were general admision with the crowd spilling in to the parking lot. Soma acts such as Hot Tuna and Blue Oyster Cult became regulars performing what seemed like every other month. | ||||||||||||||||
