Jervis - Wicks Cemetery |
The Jervis - Wicks Cemetery is located on the east side of Harned Road across from the parkway exit ramp. Although most of the almost twenty graves are those of the Wicks family the two oldest are those of Philip and Julian Jervis who died with in two years of each other in 1813 and 1815. Except for Elizabeth Wicks who also died in 1815 the cemetery was not used again until the mid 1830's and stops being used altogether in 1853. Note: The official Comac Cemetery was opened in 1850. |
